Barcelona nightlife is worldwide popular for its variety and intensity and this is one of the big attractions of this amazing city, which every year brings here many young travellers, groups of friends, stag and hens parties, etc.
But in Barcelona the night doesn't start with the sunset. In fact restaurants don't get busy before 10 pm and pubs are pretty much empty until 11 pm. Of course this also means you will probably see the sunrise before being back home!
Bars usually close at 3 and clubs stay open until 5 in the morning, when the metro starts working again. In any case also remember the metro is open 24 hours on Saturday nights and you can catch night buses all week long.
Barcelona offers a pretty big variety of clubs, with different ambience and music: from disco music, to techno, hip hop, electronic, rock and pop. Usually the entrance ticket includes a drink.
