Borne is the name of a quarter of Barcelona and it is located between via Laietana and Parc de la Ciutadela. Between the XIII and the XV centuries it has been the economic centre of the city.
In the last years, this area turned into one of the trendiest ones in town with its independent fashion designers’ shops.
In the narrow streets which constitute the quarter, there are also many restaurants and bars of different styles, which make the area a very busy one at daytime as much as at night time.
The Paseo del Borne is the heart of Borne and in here you will find any sort of restaurant and bars, but it is worth it visiting some of the streets around it to have some more selection.
