Built in 1300 is the perfect example of Gothic architecture, for harmony in their proportions and serenity offered by all. The beauty of the interior of the church inspired Gaudi to design the Sagrada Família.

And when you leave you should have a bit, a tapa in some of the reataurants around. We know that it would be great for Barcelona Hostels guests that we found some restaurant with free tapas, but we didn't ... anyway, you can still take some tapas and a drink for less than 8€.

After that you can take a walk to the harbor visiting the old fishing district of La Barceloneta by the way, and finally reach the beach.  Barcelona is a city that faces the sea and has long white sand beaches. And they're free!
