Barcelona´s biggest flea market, Els Encants Vells - Mercat de Fira de Bellcaire (literally the old charms fair,)
is a treasure trove of “new” old items for sale every week. It´s just 5 minutes walk away from the Urbany Hostel!
There are great deals to be made, if you are looking something antique with some scent of old Barcelona.
The Fira de Bellcaire flea market is open on
Saturdays, Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday from 9 to 18.00.
You´d better go early to get things in better deals, before it gets too crowded in the afternoon!

Back to the hostel, and too tired to go out again after a tiring day?
Come to the Urbany Bar on the 3rd floor.
The bar opens at 6pm every day and we have a long list of menus of
small meals, snacks and drinks (including beer, sangria, mojito and wine!).
The menu changes every day, but the quality and price is the same.

How do we celebrate New Year´s eve in Barcelona?
The bells coincide with the last course of the most important and delicious meals of the year.
Most people celebrate New Year´s Eve with their family, and some meet up with friends in retaurants that
also lay on music and dancing until the early hourso the New Year´s Day.Others

Do you feel like working out, sweating on a running machine after a day you spent whole time discovering the city?
Continue your healthy habits in the gym for free by staying with us!
Urbany Hostel Barcelona providesyou with free entrance card to a local gym,
just a few steps away from the hostel, that you have full access to the facilities!
The facility includes, running machine, spinning room, swimming pool, fitness room, jacuzzi, sauna, locker, etc.
You can also join the activity sessions and classes which includes, aqua gym, aero latin, yoga, pilates, dance, aerobic and more!

Good to know before you go to the gym..
- Bring clean flip flops, bathing suit and towel to the pool and sauna
- Wear bathing cap at the pool (we borrow them for free to you at the reception)
- Wear sport shoes for fitness room and aerobic classes
- Take a shower before using the facilities
- Have a 50 cents coin for the locker (refundable)
- Take a small tower if you are exercising at the gym
If you are interested, let us know at the reception, take the blue card and only return it back when you are checking out.

Every morning, we prepare breakfast at the bar on the 3rd floor.
You can find 3 types of bread, cereal, milk, orange juice, yogurt and some fruits that will give you energy and vitamine.
Grab your meal and enjoy the breakfast at the bar, full of morning sunshine.
Are you more a self cooking person? Then, feel free to use the kitchen.
We have refrigerators, frying pans, fire, microwaves, dishes, fork and nives, all that you need to cook.
Make yourself at home. Bon apetit!
