It has an endless stream of customers entering and leaving, waiters shouting out the tapas that are on offer and stacks and stacks of plates of braves being whizzed off to tables. Also offer at the Quimet & Quimet bar in Poble-Sec, various elaborate mini-sandwiches made with all and sundry preserves. The combinations are endless! Fancy continuing this mouth-watering route? Then let’s turn to another classic tapa: the bomba. Bar La Cova Fumada makes some really good ones, a (secret!) family recipe from forty years back. As with all good places in Barceloneta, don't miss their whitebait, mussels, cod, sardines, prawns, squid etc. And to round off our tour, Hostel in Barcelona set off for Nou Barris, where we find La Esquinica, a bar with an authentic Aragonese flavour, where you can find every imaginable kind of tapa.
