 Our Hostel in Barcelona recommends from today until dec 19th. ... Tapas all around the city and a beer for 2.40€! Until next sunday, 49 bars and restaurants in Barcelona are participating in the 2nd edition of the “De Tapas x Barcelona” contest. This special way to promote Barcelona’s cuisine and specially, the "tapas", involves 49 bars and restaurants in the city, that will serve one tapa & one beer at the price of 2.40 €! From our Hostel in Barcelona we support it, we think it's cheap, urban ... and trendy -you should take a look at some tapas, they're impressive!!- ... How does it work? Each participant will prepare one “tapa” which will be submited to the contest. Bear in mind that tapas will not be served at anytime, but each restaurant has its own timetable within the tapa will be prepared and served. How to know which are the bars and restaurants in the city that are participating in the contest? Visit contest website, www.detapesperbarcelona.es (available only in Catalan) and click on "participants." There’s the list of 40 local, divided into three groups (1 to 17, 18 to 33 and 34 to 49), if you click on each one, the address, tapa and timetable will be displayed. Since we know that those who stay at or Hostel in Barcelona organize their visit to discover the most interesting city areas, we suggest you to check if there’s any contest participant in the area you'll visit. It may be a good idea to eat some tapas at one of them ... you can be done with your lunch for not much money. How to know where the bars and restaurants are located?
