Enjoy the Barcelona Opprtunity Week this weekend at our Barcelona Hostel


Staying this weekend at our  Barcelona Hostel? There are several cheap & discount activities in the city, you can enjoy them saving your money, great for Barcelona Backpackers.

Starting today, the Barcelona Opportunity Week, an initiative involving some restaurants, theaters, museums and markets in the city. You’ll find offer discounts and 2 for 1 tickets to enjoy their activities and exhibitions ... at a cheaper price or even for free!

And where will you find discounts or free admission?

In some markets of Barcelona, which are always an attraction of the city: colored and bustle places where to dive during your stay. You can visit even buy some stuff there to cook your own dinner in the guest kitchen of our Barcelona Hostel. Well, these days you'll find discounted products in the market stalls.

Some museums like the Maritime Museum offer free admission all day tomorrow. Other museums, like the Egyptian Museum, with tickets at 50%, or the Museum of Ceramics, Decorative Arts and Textile, free admission after 2:00 pm. Great for Barcelona Backpackers staying in our Barcelona Hostel.

If you're interested in modern art, you can visit a selection of exhibits at the Fundació Tàpies for 2 €, or discover the Gran Teatre del Liceu -the Barcelona’s Opera House- public and private spaces, with a 50% discount.

Staying at our Barcelona Hostel? Do you love vintage cars and legendary races? Then you can’t miss out the Monte-Carlo Historic Rally run out.

Today January 28th, Barcelona will host one of 5 run outs of the Monte-Carlo Historic Rally.  In this rally there will participate cars that were manufactured between 1950 and 1980 and that run in some Monte Carlo Rally's ancient edition. The 114 cars running out from Barcelona will be exhibited at the Pça de la Catedral from 10 am, and the run out wil start at 4.20 pm.

How to get there from our Barcelona Hostel?

Take the Renfe line C1 (Badalona - L'Hospitalet del Llobregat) at the Clot-Arago Station -just in front of our Barcelona Hostel- and  get off after two stops in Plaça Catalunya station. From there, walk down the Av Portal de l'Angel to Pça Nova. You'll be in the Avenida de la Catedral.

Finally, if you are staying this weekend at  our Barcelona Hostel and you love fashion and trends, today is the closing day of The Brandery’s fourth edition,  the urban fashion show held annually in the city.

Among the most interesting there, the exhibition Fashion and Street: 50 photographs taken by famous fashion photographers internationally known, exhibited in the Pg de Gràcia, in the open air and completely free.

How to get there from our Barcelona Hostel ? Take the metro to Pça de Catalunya (see above) and walk from there to Passeig de Gràcia.
