 For all those friends and guests staying during this week at our Barcelona Hostel, we have great news, the Barcelona Festes de la Mercè are back in town. Starting tomorrow and until September 26th, Barcelona is full of activities, concerts, events, artists and even an impressive fireworks show that will be held on Sapt. the 23rd. For all those who stay at a Barcelona Hostel, and would like to attend any of the multiple events, we recommend you to visit the Festivities official website with the scheduling of events www.bcn.cat /merce es. Many of them are free and are held in large open air areas of the city, from the Parc de la Ciutadella, to the Av. M ª Cristina, or La Rambla, the mountain of Montjuic and the Barcelona Harbor and beaches. You'll notice that each day there are scheduled many activities, we'll inform you next week about the most interesting. Keep in mind, however, that the highlight of the celebrations takes place next weekend, between Friday and Sunday. So we encourage you to stay at our Barcelona Hostel until Sunday the 26th :) Several of the Festes de la Mercè activities taking place this week have been scheduled together with the Barcelona Asia Festival, that began yesterday and lasts also until Sept the 26th. This is another interesting festival that can be enjoyed if you are staing at our Barcelona Hostel. The Asia Festival has many scenic proposals. Most are organized by the Barcelona Asian communities and they're are characterized by their excellent quality. The Asia Festival includes theater, pop concerts, rock, film screenings and even activities such as an exhibition of Asian traditional clothing or workshops on Asian cuisine.
