During the next ten days we recommend you that if you stay at our Hostel in Barcelona, you schedule a trip to Sitges, where the best year's horror & fantastic films will be screened until Oct. 17 th, in addition to honoring the Stanley Kubrick's film The Shining, on its 30th aniversary. One of the prettiest towns on the coast of Barcelona will be the home to strange creatures, paranormal facts, aliens, werewolves and zombies. In addition, the festival will feature stars from the film industry as Vincent Cassel, who will be in Sitges to present his latest film Notre Jour Viendra, the director Joe Dante, offering a masterclass entitled Trailers from Hell and Rebecca de Mornay, who will close the Festival. But from our Hostel in Barcelona, we strongly recommend you a fun and different activity that is organized within the framework of the festival: the Zombie Walk. It is a zombie parade across the streets of Sitges, to be held on Saturday from 8.30pm. Zombies are not actors, but anyone can participate ... want to become a zombie? Then you must zombify yourself. How? Well, if you dare, several professional makeup teams from the movies industry are waiting for you from 4 pm to make you up and make you look like a real living dead ... for free! So come to our Hostel in Barcelona, zombify yourself for free, join other undead and participate in the Zombie Walk through the streets of Sitges ... after that you can enjoy the party that will be held on the beach and if you like, attend to the zombie movie marathon starting at 1 am. Or maybe you'd like to enjoy the Sitges nightlife, one of the most famous along the spanish coast ... perhaps you'll find someone to devour ....
