Museums, shows, concerts, exhibitions ... Come to our Hostel in Barcelona for the city festivities and enjoy them :)



Stay at our Hostel in Barcelona this weekend, the city's dressed up to celebrate its most important festival, with over 300 events and shows, all of them for free. During these days you won't have any problem to getting around Barcelona with the public transportation services, since the metro, tram and bus lines that link to the places where events take place will be working continuously. On the other hand, bars, clubs and discos will extend their night hours today through Sunday.

There are some of the most interesting and original activities:

Thursday 23rd:

A giants, dragons and fire beasts parade at the Pça St. Jaume between 9:30 and 11:30 PM.
An impressive fireworks display on the beach of Barceloneta, at 10 pm. (To be repeated on Sept 24th and 25th)
A free concert: Loquillo on the esplanade of Avenida Reina M ª Cristina, at 10:30 pm

Saturday 25th:

Do you like circus? In a big tent placed at Montjuic Castle will be a great show of clowns, acrobats and jugglers.
A fire race: Tha particular catalan show of Correfocs i Diables, at 8 pm on Via Laietana... the fire becomes the main character of a unique tradition!

Sunday 26th:

The festivities closing event: fireworks, lights, magic and music, on the Avenida Maria Cristina, next to Pça Espanya, at 10 pm.

And our Hostel in Barcelona strongly recommend you to visit the Parc de la Ciutadella, where there are scheduled daily sessions of magical performances that play with lights and music, and make the water "dance" ... you'll get into an enchanted world.
