Our Barcelona Hostel discovers 5 facts about The Barcelona Shopping Night ...

Staying at our Barcelona Hostel tomorrow? Get ready for shopping? Great! Tomorrow, dec. 2nd, you can enjoy the Barcelona Shopping Night!

Want to know 5 facts about Barcelona Shopping Night  we've discovered at our Barcelona Hostel? We think they're helpful, so read them carefully if you go crazy and want to spend your budget in the most elegant street of Barcelona. Why not?

Fact 1.- The shopping night is a special event that has already been successful in other European cities. It's going to be held in Barcelona on thursday on occasion of the  lighting of Barcelona' s Christmas decoration. At our Barcelona Hostel we think it's a good reason to take the streets and enjoy these exciting pre-Christmas activities, don't you?

Fact 2.- Where’s the event going to be held? Most of the stores in Passeig de Gràcia are going to participate: Armani, Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Hermes, Loewe, Tiffany …. Maybe too expensive for Barcelona Backpackers? Don’t worry, you'll find many other shops at Passeig de Gracia with affordable prices, shops that we really love at our Barcelona Hostel: Benetton, Mango, H&M, Zara …

Fact 3.- Timing? All shops will remain open until 12pm but bear in mind that some of them -as well as restaurants and hotels- will celebrate some parties inside after the closing time. There will be also another party inside the big tent sponsored by Harper's Bazaar.

Fact 4.- How does it work? You’ll have to get your BSN passport and bring it with you during your shopping. The passport contains all the information you need about shops and stores, a map and a detailed guide of the event. Where to get it? At the information desk in front of The Bulevard Rosa (Pg. de Gràcia, 55). For  each 20 € you spend shopping, you'll get a flower sealed on your passport and some points to participate in a raffle at the end of the night.

Fact 5.- And what about if in the meanwhile you’re hungry? Here are some suggestions from our Barcelona Hostel, places where to have a bit and a drink for less than 10€

Alt Heidelberg, at Ronda Universitat: tapas, typical german sandwitches & salads.
Txapela, at Passeig de Gràcia 10: tapas.

How to get to Passeig de Gracia form our Barcelona Hostel?

Take the Renfe C1 line (Badalona / L´hospitalet del Llobregat) at the Clot-Aragó Station and get off  after two stops at Plaça Catalunya. It will take you just 15 minutes to reach the Passeig the Gracia from our Barcelona Hostel.

Have a great shopping night, and enjoy Christmas events in Barcelona)
