![]() What to do in the city this weekend if you stay at our Hostel in Barcelona? Tomorrow you can visit the Sagrada Familia for free, on occasion of the open days held there every Saturday on January. This Saturday, the basilic will be open from 9 AM until 6 PM. And you can reach the Sagrada Familia taking a 15 minutes walk from our Hostel in Barcelona. Many of those who visit our Hostel in Barcelona like to enjoy some typical traditions. We recommend you to go to the Barrio de Sant Antoni, which celebrates its year big party. Tomorrow at 10.30 am you can enjoy the spectacle of the Cabalgata de Els Tres Tombs, a big parade with the animals as main characters. It is a 50 charriots and 76 riders parade across the main streets of the Ciutat Vella and Sant Antoni quarters. It’s a tradition that animals receive a blessing that day. As part of the festival there are more activities scheduled: theater, concerts, competitions and even a karaoke! If you like traditional festivals, you wouldn’t miss it out. The parade begins in Calabria / Floridablanca streets but it will run through the most important city streets: La Rambla, the Pça Universitat, c / Pelai or Pça. Catalunya. Take the Renfe line C1 (Badalona / L'Hospitalet de Llobregat) at El Clot-Arago station, just in front of our Hostel in Barcelona’s door. After 2 stops, get off at Plaça Catalunya. Then you can't miss out the exhibition "On behalf of sharks, a sea of hope.¡", at the he Barcelona Maritime Museu.You will find there real-size sharks replicas, photographs and audiovisual documents. The exhibition intends to change the people's idea about sharks and make us think about the value and fragility of the marine ecosystem. The ticket price is 2.50 euros, a good price for those staying at our Hostel in Barcelona. The exhibition is highly recommended because you will also visit one of the most beautiful gothic buildings throughout Barcelona, the Reials Drassanes, that host the MMB. And finally, we there’s another awesome exhibition in the city: If you like cars and fashion, you have to go see "El traje que te lleva” (The suit that takes you). This is an initiative of BMW, in which five protypes designed by students of fashion and automotive EDI are shown on the streets. If you want to know how mobility can be Barcelona in the future, you won’t miss it out. The exhibition is free and outdoors, in the Rambla Catalunya. Take the RENFE line C2 (Montcada i Reixac / El Prat de Llobregat) at El Clot/Arago station and get off after one stop in Pg.De Gràcia.
