The Gothic Quarter is the heart of the historical part of Barcelona, located between La Rambla and Via Laietana and between Plaça Catalunya and the seafront. In its labyrinth of narrow streets, most of them closed to regular traffic, you will see many Medieval buildings and some Roman ones. Before starting make sure to get a map so you won’t get lost.
Coming from the Barcelona

Seville is the Andalusian capital, located on the plain of the Guadalquivir River. During the centuries it has been being a very important port city, especially for the commerce between Spain and America.
From the 711 A.D. to the 1248 A.D. the whole region has been occupied by the Arabs and the influence they left in the territory is pretty big, especially in architecture. Art
Els Encants Vells or Fira de Bellcaire is one of the oldest flea markets in Europe. It seems it began working in the XIV century and it was created by the fusion of two different markets. This is why it has a double name.
During the years it changed its location several times but since 1928 it is in Plaça de les Glories, just two blocks away from the Barcelona Urbany Hostel.
